SEEMA KAZI

Seema Kazi has been educated in India, the Netherlands, and the UK. She has a PhD from the Gender Institute, London School of Economics. She has worked as an independent researcher and writer on Muslim woman and human rights with the Women's Learning Partnership (WLP), Washington D.C and the Minority Rights Group (MRG), London. Her book Between Democracy and Nation: Gender and Militarisation in Kashmir (Women Unlimited, 2009) is on women's subjective experience of militarisation.
