ANUPAMA RAO
Anupama Rao is Assistant Professor, South Asian History, at Barnard College, Columbia University. Her research interests are in Indian nationalism, caste movements and the history of gender. She teaches comparative colonialism, gender and feminist theory, South Asian history and postcoloniality. She is the editor of Gender & Caste, the first volume in Women Unlimited's ground-breaking series, Issues in Contemporary Indian Feminism.
